i have a 1993 Sunbird, for awhile now my rear bumper side marker lights have been burnt out. i have the haynes repair manual for my car i looked up the bulb replacement for the side markers. i really dont understand the instructions, or i'm just retarded. for side marker lights it says to remove the two plastic screws retaining the speaker cover trim panel in the rear compartment. Pull the carpet back and swing the speaker and cover assembly into the rear compartment for access to the bulb. rear compartment, do they mean back seat? there obviously isnt any trim in the trunk. the only place i have carpet and a speaker in the same place is in the back window. i dont know what they are talking about. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx.
