ok this might be alil long i have lot of descibing to do lol here we go aight i garaged my car about 1 year ago did an oil change and put fresh gas in it b4 i put it in, it's a 2.2 w/ only 59,017 miles on it exactly...anyway i occasionally started it up and let it run for like 20 mins. atleast 2 times a week but as of late it has been acting weird now that i have tried to get it back out on the road i change the oil put in fresh gas added fuel injector cleaner but the idle seems to be erratic when the cars fan turns on and the exhaust backfires when u rev it. Could it be my engine is going bad from storing it or is it like a TPS sensor or O2 sensor, i think i have a bad o2 senser in my cat cause my check engine is throwin that code do u think that this would be the whole problem i am having if you can help let me know thanx!

if you didn't put a fuel stablizer in it, and left a full tank of gas for a year, your in for a world of pain... gas begins breaking down, and "guming" up after 3 months....

so what should i do it this the reason why it's spuddering and erratic idle sometimes? can i add fuel stablizer now or do i have to have my entire fuel system gas tank and all cleaned?

it all depends on how broken down the gas is.... hows it smell?

how do i smell gas take the gas cap off? it will prolly smell fresh cause i put fresh stuff in today? should i try fuel stablizer tommorrow? what r my other options bud?

how does the EXHAUST smell, id say run it through that tank of gas, then run Seafioam trough it, put like 2 gal gas in tank, and dump half of your seafoam in the gas, and run it for about 10 miles, then filler up
