I'm so close to finishing up my 96 cavalier 2.2 i just installed a motor from a wreaked car. When i first started it up, i got a INJETOR CIRCUT MALFUNTION code. To see what would happen, i changed the computer. the code went away. but now, after like 1-2 minutes, the CEL light starts blinking and the Rad fan turns on!!! If i press the ERASE button on my OBOII reader, the CEL goes away and the rad shuts down, until the next time i start the car. I dont drive the car cause its not completly finished yet, so i dont know how it preforms onthe road, plus it runs like crap, engine shakes like crazy. i'm also trying to figure that one too, all the coils seem to be firing.
the radiator fan will come on anytime you get a CEL, this wont help you with your problem, but the fan part is normal..
but i dont get a code anymore, nothing comes up on the reader, its just a flashing CEL
