wiring the horn w/ aftermarket steering wheel

Dont even tell me to search, becasue i did, and all i came up with was people telling others to search.


Im wondering how the hell you guys wired the horn to the buttons on an aftermarket steering wheel.

a diagram would me nice.

I got the horn to work

but the wire keeps getting twisted in with the steering column. any one have any ideas?

I just cut the plastic piece that the spring sits in from my old steering whel (bottom of the air bag) and used that with the new horn button .. works like a charm .. wish all the other things I have done would be that easy.

Hit 200 NA it broke once, Hit 213 it broke again,
Hitting 300 NA is further away than I thought.

I just tried that method, and it didnt work....

can you go into more detail?
