well i noticed this a long time ago but didnt think about it until now. when i take off from a stand still and im flooring it the car feels good till about 4500 or 5000 then the cars exhaust note turns different and the car sounds and feels like it is straining itself to get to the redline. i feel no power after that certain point. at the track or whatever that is when most cars either catch up to me or pass me. then when it shifts it kind of bogs out and takes a while to accelerate. just wondering if anything is wrong with my car or if that is just because my car sucks. oh and what is the part number for the box that mounts on the place were the strut mount is that little black box. to the left of the engine bay towards the back of the engine bay because mine is werid and says V6 on it and was wondering if it was for a different car maybe that is why mine was messing up.thanks
Fuel filter?
That piece with V6 on it... assuming it's got a cable to the front of the engine somewhere, it sounds like your cruise control module. Nothing wrong with it

would the car not be getting enough gas and that why it would be doing that? i know they are not really accurate but my air/fuel ratio gauge doesnt really show a difference if the car is not getting enough gas.
1. A/F gauges are crap (i should know i got one) and 2. the 2200 isn't known for it top end pull either, at least mine isn't
I have to agree with john on this one
