I was browsing through the JCWhitney catalog and saw these? What are your takes on these? I'm was considering getting one but I'm a little skeptical about them. I'm worried that it may get the oil out but might miss any dirt that might be left behind. Do you think they would do the job right?

Oh crap! if you're that lazy that you don't want to get under the car to change oil, take the car to Wal-Mart or Jiffy Lube. Not saying you are lazy. But someone out there is or they wouldn't sell the things. I can buy the oil and filter for my car for $13. Wal-Mart charges $15.99 and they check everything and lube it too. So that's $2.99 I save. The pump costs $18 for the cheap one. So I'd have to change my oil 6 times for the pump to "pay for itself." If you change your oil every three months, that's a year and a half. I've done lost the thing by then. In other words, don't waste your money, dude.
I would have wrote you a poem, but I couldn't find anything that rhymed with F@#K OFF!
I use to be a work on boat and we used those on the inboard motors cause
you can not get a pan in the sump of the boat

DON'T take it to Jiffy Lube for any reason. They messed up my daughters drain plug several times and had to replace it all the times. After about the fourth time, she had to have the drain rethreaded and a new drain plug put in. She will no longer take it to Jiffy Lube. If you are unable to do the oil change yourself, take it to Wal-Mart of even the dealer.
Do Not waste your money on those Oil Change Pumps.
