Hi, a couple of weeks ago, my engine has been doing a strange "crac crac" noise when I let go of the gas pedal or brake. It does not do it when Im either accelerating or braking, it only does it when I let go of the pedals.
Has this happened to anyone before.
I need to know, so I canget it fixed, not pay someone just to tell me what the problem is.

Hm, I'd say to check your exhaust to start off and make sure everything feels tight yet. I just went through something similiar with my car. If I revved it and left off the gas or was coming to a stop occasionally I could hear a "pop pop pop pop" coming from the engine and it even stalled the car out on occasions when it didn't. Here I had a broken flex piece on the down-pipe that needed replaced ($86 at Meineke to be replaced, bleh!) and all my clamps were busted and the exhaust pipe was hitting sub-frame brace near the muffler... only one clamp was holding up the exhaust at the catalytic converter and it was looking pretty rusted and looked like it was ready to break itself. After getting that fixed the car is as good as new again and now strange popping noises.
