about a month back, I made a post giving symptoms to a problem. When the car got warmed up/hot, it would want to shut off whenever we stopped at a red light or came to an idle.
Someone suggested unplugging something from the transmission, I can't remember the name of it ... TCW? torque convertor ... something.
Anyway, is it OK to just leave it unplugged? What happens?
What's the procedure to replace this part? Do I have to tear the tranny apart?
Thanks for the info!

It is called the torque convertor switch better known as the TCC switch. It will not hurt the cars driveability at all just may reduce ur mpg.As for the removal and reinstall of a new one I do not know.U should buy ur self a cd rom for ur car from
http://chiltonsonlinecom all u do is purchase the manual online from them and u can see everything about the car and I mean a complete breakdown pics included and u can print off what u need.I think the cost is 20.00 for a yr just click on the cd rom link they have and go from there.I bought this cd rom for mine and its great, but I do hv two manuals for my ride but they do not show pics for alot of stuff where as this cdrom does .Its worth it.
