Alright, I was driving around, me and my dad needed to go get groceries. and we were pulling out of the cub foods parking lot, and my dad had the window down, and when ever I would step on the brakes or turn, the would be this high pitched squeak. My dad figures it could be a bad wheel bearing. So when we got home I poped the wheel off and we tried looking at it. The only thing we noticed was that the rotor kinda flexed when you pushed on it, but then again, a little flex might be normal. Any help would be appreciated.
Jack up the car. Leave the wheels on. Try to shake the wheel towards and away from the engine. If you have movement you have a bad bearing.
Bad bearings would be if you jacked up the car with the wheels ON and moved the tire from top to bottom/up and down... if you wheel moves top to bottom is a bad bearing (I've had 2)...
Right to left/side to side would be a tie rod. (Had a bad tie rod too).
Thanks for the info. I'll try that tomorrow morning.
