Theres the black and red wires off the back of the starter. Trying to figure out what terminals they goto, R and S are my option.... which goes to which one.

This is on a 96 2.4L manual Z24 cav

black is ground and red is positive...did i answer wrong?

No i understand that, but there are two terminals they go into one is labled R and the other is labled S. i dont remember which goes where.

hmm, i would have to look at my 96 starter and see.

I swapped in a 2000 grand am starter i think i picked up for 30$. I had to add a ground wire i think. Hooking it up i remeber wasnt tough.

one of the goes to the ignition and the other one is the hot wire...im just guessing from when i installed my cd player

r maybe equals remote....for the ignition??? and s stands for stand alone? meaning directly to battery or where ever? is this what ur trying to get at?

these are the two small wires, not the large one.

Anyone know which goes to the R and which goes to the S?
