My car passed the 100k (mi) mark a couple weeks ago, and it's decided to give me some attitude. Last week and the week before the car would stutter every so often if I gave it moderate to hard throttle at anything less than 2k rpms. It started doing it more frequently in the last couple of days, and at higher rpms, up to about 3k or so. Along with that, a couple of times when I went from a start it stuttered and gave me a nice little clunking noise from under the hood. I've checked all the vacuum lines, gave it injector cleaner and all that basic stuff. Also, the spark plugs are only about 3k old (did the 100k service a little early). I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas before I send it to the shop, especially since money is *pretty* tight right now.
The term 'stock' is COMPLETELY relative...
