Ok my motor blew about a year ago. So i buy a used LD9 motor for my cavi. Getting in the car went great but it would not crank. So a take it to a small shop on the side of the road. Bad mistake he has the car still after 6 months. He timed the motor and fix some minor things to the wiring harness. He installed a pcm and put it in the car. Now the car will not fire he says. So he thinks it is the igniton coil or something like that. So i go to the store and buy one. He never called me back today. What do you think it is. Please help.

dude, that sounds crappy, I would recommend a GM mechanic, with a GM TECH2, it is crazy what they can do with those computers, although it is like 60 bucks an hour, they should be able to figure it out pretty quick.
are all the sensors reading/responding? if you have no spark maybe he wired it incorrectly,
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
Does it crank at all?
Spitcan had this problem if I can remember correctly.
We tried replacing the battery but that wasn't the issue. It was a faulty ignition switch. Damn GM Econo-boxes
Suggest a new ignition switch (keyed in the cab) because that could be the issue.
I also remember sometimes it would catch for a second and then die. We were told that it was the Fuel Pump cut off with the factory alarm. Anti-theft device.

Ok thanks i will try the ignition swith. He said that it might be the the little comp under the coil pack. it is like 180 bucks. But i need my car back. I have like alot parts in my room ready to go on.

Suggest getting your car back from the hole in the wall garage before he rips you off anymore.
