OK, ive read the sticky, and a crap load of other posts.

The last time my AC was recharged was about 5 years ago.

I know how to test the system and to check for leaks, but i cant find the low pressure valve on my 'fire.

There is a blue cap on the passanger side of the engine bay, next to the motor mount and valve cover, but there is a sticker saying "high" on it.

So where is the low side?

that should be your low pressure side for recharging or checking the pressure.

The high side is under the top of the radiator support. Fitting should be pointing down. Cap is red. passenger side.
The low side is what you describe.
