Hey guys, I am just wondering if all 3rd gen cavaliers have a noticeable shake with the engine, Ive got 2001 2.2L auto 4spd, Just curious if these car commonly do this. Ive got about 117,000k on the engine, Tune up / plugs / wires / fuel filter changed / air filter / throttle body cleaned. Anyone have any Idea's?
Ive got a 2000, same engine, 60k miles. My car doesnt have a noticible shake, but with stock motor mounts the engine it self does have a quite un-even shake to it.
If youve got aftermarket mounts the car would shake more.

well it runs smooth, I just think mounts could be a little worn, I had 2000 years back never could feel the engine at idle. Just wondering if anyone has had the same.
I have the same problem in my 02, someone told me to replace the plugs and wires. wires are to expensive so i replaced the plugs and it helped a little. otherwise i guess it's normal also heard that maybe the ecu needs to be flashed
