I am replaceing the hub assy on my 97 cav 2.2 - I am following the excellent pictorial in the library but need help. I am at step 8, I have removed the 3 torx bolts, the drive shaft moves easily back and forth - but the hub assy wont budge.
I have applied liquid wrench and used a rubber mallet then a hammer and block. Is it just rust welded? Do I need to use more force ? Is there a better way to do this? Any help is appreciated

Have a piece of heavy chain ?
If so, attach, let out slack, then jerk hard.
just shake and pull ... ahah ... i just changed my 96 ... cavi hubs ...yup just shake and pull ....
shake, pull, hit it harder
I used a chisle. Take the chisle and pound at a downward angle where the bearing meets the mount. If you hit it about a 1/2 to the inside of where the torx bolts where it will pop off real nice...
