Well having a few first problems with the Cavalier, currently at 15k. First the brakes would pulsate after they get heated up, and usually below 30mph would pulsate, anyways it did that from day 1 but lived with it cause it wasnt to bad. Then a passanger who was riding with me said something. So anyways brought it in for that, turns out they were out of round, so they resurfaced them, and its perfect now.
The problem I also brought it in for and they said they fixed but it isnt. The trunk wont close half the time and it takes at least six or seven times to trying to close it before it does.
They said they adjusted the trunk latch and it worked, but it looks like it came unadjusted again before I got home from the dealership.
Anyways going back Monday morning, they said 7:45 be there with it and they will for sure fix it.
Anyone else have the problem with the trunk not closing on an 04?

yeah, i was on a road trip in michigan, and my trunk suddenly wouldnt close in the middle of the drive
anyway, i took my tire iron and bent the metal piece the latch clicks onto upwards and i rarely have a problem these days,

I have an 05 and the trunk has the same problem...havent taken the time to take it in yet...my brakes have always done that too, but again lazyness has resisted me from getting it checked out
happened to me the other day...on the way home from beer distributor with 6 cases of stuff in the trunk...took the tire iron and bent it back up...dunno how it got so low...i must just be too strong when i pushed it down. lol
