O2 sim Quetions?

Will the O2 simulator get rid of my slow to respond O2 code?? and can i use it on the one on the header? is that the one the O2 sim is for?? Also with the O2 sim will I pass Emissions? Is the O2 sim engine specific or are they all the same?

ALso how to get rid of Idle to high code?? does anyone know what causes this code or a potentil fix ?

The O2 simulator is for the rear heated O2 sensor. I'm not sure if they make a simulator for the one in the exhaust manifold (dont think so). I'm not sure if it will help you pass emissions, it depends. In some states they just check for the check engine light. If it isn't on you may be ok. I'm not sure on this one because my state does not do emissions testing. The simulator should work with the 2.4 or 2.2, not sure about the eco.

Your high idle code may be caused by a bad IAC (idle air control) valve. What is the code number?

Was it DTC P0507 Idle Speed High? You probably need to replace your IAC valve.
