Bumper damage question
Sunday, July 10, 2005 7:40 PM
alright guys im faced with a problem and i need your guys help/suggestions. this morning on my way to work i hit a deer...a little one, only doing damage to my bumper. looks rediculous....anyway. i was wondering do you think it would be a good idea for me to get a kit and just fit it myself and sand it myself and all that crap then just take it to a shop to get painted or should i just have the shop do it. i have the experience. i worked at an auto body shop sanding cars for about a year. but that was a few years ago. i was wonder if it would be worth it?

last time i got my rear bumper smashed and had it replaced it cost me $1000 and i really dont feel like spending that much again. would this lower my price doing all the sanding myself and the preping of the body kit?

thanks for the help.

also i have lowering springs to put on my car. i was wonder if you think i should wait to put them on till i get my body kit on to see how low it would be i dont want to smash up the kit or anything. i live in pa and we have some pretty nasty roads here : /

thanks again
