My speedo has been clicking and then all the gauge lights come on, I then turned the car of an back on and the abs, and ebrake light came on when it was down, turned off the car and started and all was normal, then yesterday I went to go somewhere and the speedo clicked and all the gauges reset, i turned off the car and it wouldnt turn back on, i disconnected the battery and reconn, and it was fine, and has been fine since yesterday. Anyone have any clues as to what could cause this?

which car was this in? the 98 or the 79?
i had a similar prob in my 90 grand am, unfortuantly it meant that my comp was dying, i ended up junking the car and got my cavy, in the end it was a good thing, but then again it is never a good thing to lose a car that you love

Its in the cavi, the car has 172,000 miles on it, and still runs great.
