Seen it posted before, but never the answers.
1. What is the correct, and easiest way to release pressure from the lines.
2. What is the correct way to take the filter off without breaking anything?
3. Anybody got a big pic of this by chance?

You dont need to remove the pressure, some people just do it to be on the safe side. I have done about 15-20 of them before and not once released pressure.
Anyways all you do is remove the fuel pump fuse and start the car, it will die, crank it once or twice and thats it.

which one is the fuel pump fuse, that little sticker telling which is which I do not have.

This is cake to change, man. It's really easy to find the fuel pump relay(Think it was a relay, not a fuse? Been a while can't really remember) under the hood. Just look on top of the box and it says "Fuel Pump" right there. Just pull it out, Start the car, let it die and you're good.
I unpressurized and I still got a ton of pressure in the line oddly enough. Just wrap a rag around it when you undo the lines. Just get yourself a 5/8", 13/16", and an adjustable wrench. It's exactly what I used to do the job.

the relay is under the hood? Isnt it hard on the engine to starve it of fuel, even for a second?

There should be what is described as the "schrader valve" under the hood. Simply unscrew the cap on it and use a flathead screwdriver to depress it. It will shoot some slight fuel out so have a rag ready. Also, you can de-pressurize the tank by opening the gas cap.

if youre talking about those little quick release clips, theyre a real pain to figure out. first, unhitch the little green part (i used a flathead screwdriver) so it flaps out. now, you have one end hanging loose. push that end of the green plastic towards the line, and the smooth green arc on the opposite side of the fitting should slide away from the fuel line. i cant describe it any better.

I don't personally relieve the fuel pressure via removing the relay, just use the rag around the wrench and slowly back it off, reason being, you gotta do it anyhow.
The "duck" clips as previously said, are the biggest prob, they like to break, so be delicate.
