as we all know..the 2.4 is one of the worst engines ever built..i've through 2 of them already....i hear it's because something to do with the oil..it doesnt get in all the places in the engine or something...My question is whats a "quick fix" so it won't happen again...stronger oil pump?changing oils often?

I have heard once that it is caused if you do a really fast turn and if it leans too much it can cause the 3rd bearing to be out of the oil and that'll break it., someone correct me if i'm wrong, but if you take it easy on the turns and change your oil like recommended you shouldn't have any major problems.

Change your oil on a regular basis, don't let your oil ever run low, and don't drive like an idiot revving it over 5000 rpms in every gear every time.

Use synthetic oil, and make sure it doesn't consume oil between oil changes.
