I'm having trouble with the battery dying and the dash cluster loses power. I mean everything shuts off while I'm driving for a second or two then comes back on. This happens all the time. I just replaced the alternator with a new one. Does anyone have a clue as to what's wrong. I replaced the motor about 6-7 months ago but the problem only started about 2-3 months ago. Please help me before I burn the car to the ground

I would seriosuly check your battery cables.
My old car ( not j-body) everything would die sometimes when I hit the breaks, example stereo cuts out, air bag light came on. Turns out the battery cables were just loose, needed to be tightened up. After tightened them up all was great.

Had all the cables checked and tightened. Does anyone think it could be the computer?

Have to agree with Rob S
I once had an intermittant charging problem and ran a pair of wires from the Gauges fuse +ve (with ignition ON)and a known good earth to a voltmeter. I have since removed the voltmeter but the wiring is still there if I need it again. This enabled me to confirm it was an alternator problem and new brushes fixed it.
So what I am really saying is can you monitor the system voltage as you drive, at least you would know what is happening--the voltage may drop as everything shuts off. Voltmeters are relatively cheap!
You say the cables were checked and tightened--were they cleaned as well?
Hope it helps anyway
