hey i'm new as you can tell, and i have a question hopefully some of you can help me out . i have a 97 cavalier 2.2 auto and the check engine light is on. i scanned it and i forget what the code was but i do remember it was for the camshaft position sensor. Is this a common problem? i don't even know where the sensor is at so i kinda makes things hard. the car runs fine(well technically it's air/fuel is probably messed up) but i'd like to have the light out so that if something actually does happen then i'd know. any help would be appreciated.

i'm not sure if you've received an answer, but it should be in the rear center of the engine by the firewall.
