Was about 4k in damage...car was worth 3k...dont have collission on my insurance...so no go there..sold it to a wrecking yard for $225 bucks

damn that sucks. you shoulda parted out the good stuff...probably would have gotten more that 225 just in parts...

yeah i woulda if i had a place to put the car in the meantime...the towing yard was chargin me 30 bucks a day just to keep it there...
it had brand new falken's on there...im sure i coulda gotten 4-500 for the rims/tires alone

no i couldnt...i live in on campus apartments and they have strict guidelines about their parking...one of the guidelines is no vehicles in total disrepair may park there...sucks for me
damn that really does suck. my apt. complex will at least let it sit for 30 days so you have a chance to do something with it.

man the damage wasnt even that bad.....i had an accident similar to that in my old z24, (i decieded to run into someone), and it popped the windshield out, and did the same amount of damage it looks like....except my intake manifold was cracked.
but in 2 weeks i had it up and running. ordered lights, hood, intake manifold, ac and radiator all off ebay, then had a guy put a new windshield in, i cut the airbags out and closed em back up.
but i guess if its not worth keeping, then u might as well let it go. are you getting a new one or maybe a cavalier? please dont say honda
