anyone made a succesful ram air for the eco. i'm thinking really simple here. hood scoop, elbow, filter. set it up so that the filter goes striaght up over the valve cover into a hole cut in the hood covered by a scoop. any real gains, any little things i'm missing???
Only real gains would be at speed... not much to notice -- about the same as a CAI.
BTW -- JBNW's back online
Yeha realistically it wouldn't be that much colder air, heat rises and absorbs into the hood, then as your driving it flows right up into the scoop and flows into the filter, also denser air seeks out the easiest way to escape its heat charged enviroment so all the heat rushs to come up out of the hole in the hood double compounding the problem, these 2 reasons are a couple of amny that true CAI's are sent down into the bumper.
THough it would look pretty cool, wouldn't it, btw JBNW is back up, lol
