Anyone from the west coast going to make the drive for the bash? Or will we have our own over here?

Typically, there is a 3-fold meet in the summer time, one early summer, mid summer, and at the end of September...
I am seriously considering driving the distance for the bash..... but it comes down to how much time off and/or cash I got around that time.... that and if Lenko/ the canadians are willing to caravan. LOL
Negative for me... Of course I could take the Cavi (not sure if the Fire will be running around that time and I'd be finding a small tent trailer to bring with if it were
)

So take away about 7 or 8 hours from the drive for me, and its sitll a hella long drive....... crazy for nme to even be considering this.... but thats why I'm a crazt MT boy.

Might as well post it ROb, let everyone know we are considering making the drive, maybe just maybe we could spark interest and get some people to go along or ride along for gas money?
BTW: Bor i'm considering just doing the tenting at the track option if i go, you planning on staying at a hotel?

Looks like I might have the time off to take the Jul 23 to Aug 3 (5 days there, 5 days back)... Just pending the approval now
I don't know if i can get all the time off, I only got like 30 some hours coming for vacation time as of last week, and Im not sure I'll be able to acrue enought to do the same trip time as you Rob.... Im gonna check with inhuman unrealtions today, dang I hope i can, if not then its just JBNW meets this summer.

2,400 miles / 400 mpg = 6 tanks one way. Assuming $30 to fill up, x 6 tanks = $180 one way on gas. x 2 for the way back = $360 in gas for the trip, assuming you can make 400 miles to the tank. I can barely make that, just have bolt-ons, cruising at about 70 mph. Thats also assuming gas stays at 2.38 per gallon x 13 gallons. Hope you could follow that
It all means that I will not be coming. Plus I forgot to add the cost of oil changes when I get there and when I get back. Probably a new set of tires and the gym membership from eating on the road for a week and a half.

Yeha this is why Rob and I started the WCGMtunerbash thing were doing, its just not feasible for us west coasters.
