I've been trying to find a place to powder coat my wheels, with no luck. Does anybody know of anyone in the Fort Collins, CO area that could do that? And I want them powder coated the same or as close to my paint color as possible (fusion orange metalic) is that even possible? And what would it cost?

I belive a normal body shop should be able to powdercoat. Ive heard up too 200 bucks a rim to get powdercoated. Personally I think body matched rims dont go well and look to busy. Id suggest painting them black. If you have a lip leave it polished. I no of a few people that have painted there rims themselves with High temp eminal paint. Looks really good and shinny too. All you need to do is sand the rims really good and put on a good 3-4 coats of paint.

Powdercoating shops should charge around $150 to $200 for a set (4) of wheels, that may or may not include removing the old powdercoat.
Most body shops will outsource any powdercoating.

I know Kyle powder coated his Jetta's rims for like $30-$40 a rim. It wasn't too expensive at all. I'll see where he got it done.
Anyone know about getting chrome?? I've heard to do it in Brighton as they don't have as strict a laws and can do it better. I'm not sure though.
lol i need to stop reading the ORG at 4 in the morning,....when i finally went to sleep i had a dream that i was driving down the highway and saw a tire shop and there was a big sign outside that said "POWDERCOATING"
