Elway chevrolet got in a black cobalt ss yesterday and I tried to get approved on it tonight. they wanted to give me $7,500 for my car and want $24,400 for the cobalt. It was something rediculous like $5,000 down and $589 a month or something like that. Needless to say I drove the Fire back home. Good luck to anyone trying to pick this car up.

Dealers are being dicks and marking up the car all across the nation. Give it time, once they start coming in this BS inflation of the price should drop back to msrp. From what i hear though don't expect any discounts on the cobalt ss, they are going to push it at msrp. Maybe if the car doesn't sell well you might see discounts on it.

I personally do not like the Cobalt SS....

12 psi of boost and all it has is 205hp??

My 2.4 with GM charger (If I could afford it) at 4.5 psi is only 10hp less.

Plus I personally do not like the look of the car.

Yeah...we just got a yellow one at Tucson, AZ too. One so far and I'm not even going to go look at it. Looks ugly !!!
