he got it back a couple weeks ago. thanks for keeping a look out tho! only think wrong was stolen stereo, roofrack, and a busted exhaust.

Streaker1369 is right, that bug does look farmilliar. I believe I've come across it at least once before. Yes, very lucky that it was recovered with just the stereo and roof rack missing and broken exhaust.
