I have a 01 2200 auto cav I wanna build a motor I'm figuring around 10 psi but I was also considering on maybe doin a 50 or 75 of nitro ne recomendations on how I should go about building the motor?

i'll make this short and sweet. build you're engine as strong as possible using the most durable parts u can find. don't take no shortcuts and don't leave anything out. boost and nitrous together are a major punch-in-the-face for an engine.

That's alot of power that your trying to throw down into your motor.
First, just like Event said, Rebuild the bottom end to forged parts (example Eagle Rods, Wiseco Pistons etc). After your turbo is on, make sure that you are able to get the car to run in it's current condition. When I say this, I mean traction & fuel efficiency. Traction will be usually your first issue, tires and a LSD would be a great investment. Next would come your tuning, you want to make sure that you able to supply your vehicle with enough fuel to keep your motor up to par. If not, you could run completely lean and damage your motor (even if it is a re-built motor...no fuel...no motor).
These are things I would think about before I would throw on nitrous because you might need to upgrade your fuel pump to help supply more fuel when spraying.
Also, do you know what compression pistons your want to run?
I'm not sure if you know all this stuff already but I'm just assuming you don't...if you do, sorry for boring you and wasting your time lol. If not and you have more questions, just ask.

I think he means boost OR nitrous
if hes doing one or the other, 10psi is kosher on the stock bottom end on the 2200
but you need fuel mods and a proper tune... don't think you can just put a turbo on and up it to 10psi... either have a shop tune it, or invest in a wideband and an EGT gauge
if you plan on doing boost AND nitrous... build it from the ground up just like event said
I was plannin on doing boost and spray but for now just boost cause I know I'm gonna run into lag being an auto. or should I just go a lil higher on boost?

I think before you do anything as far as boost, you should read more about what turbo is and what turbo does to an engine and how to maintain a turbo. Finish your research and then you'll know more of what to do when you do have the kit installed.

autos should have less lag... in fact lag isn't even related to what kind of transmission you're running at all...
if you have a properly matched turbo, lag shouldn't be an issue so read up some more...
