whats up everyone . well i have a 2001 pontiac sunfire 2200 2 dor . so far i shaved all moldings and badges. i have a weapon r intake with upper motor mount and pacesetter ceramic coated header with full custom 2 1/5 exhaust . i just recently got some 16 inch rim and i ordered a front and rear vibrant struts bars from gravana so those should be coming in soon . i am debating whether or not to go with struts and springs first or a port and polish . if i go with struts and springs it will be koni yellows with eibach sportline springs . but i am leaning towards the port and polish the head . if i do what all can i do to the head ? get it al done in one shot u know ... any information or suggestions are greatly apreciated . thanks
well lets see. you could get it shaved (A LITTLE) , modified 5 angle valve job, oversized valves, have valves backcut, vavle tip heights corrected etc etc etc. theres a lot u can do to you're head.if done right u can make a lotta power, or u can lose power if u have no idea what you're doing. do you're homework first and make sure u know exactly what u want done cause u can really screw things up and waste a good head.
People say that what doesn't kill you in this life
will make you stronger. I'm not sure if that is true
or not, but i do know one thing-You have to learn from
it and it has to make you better.......it has to.......
Right now, it sounds like your unsure what direction you want to go in. I would suggest either:
A. Save your money till you do enough research and find exactly what you want
B. Get little things like struts & springs and not get involved into your motor yet because that's a semi big job.
Good luck in your decision.

I've been looking for a PnP here in G'ville. Lot of machinists say if you have a shop do a PnP, make sure they do it on a "flowbench". Some places say they can PnP, but don't have this machine to do it.
Every machinist I have talked say, "if they say they can do it, but don't have a flowbench, then to "f" them becuase they most likely will screw it up, or not really do anything to it." The cheapest PnP for ecotec head I found was $1000.
If they do try there is NO way for them to measure each port to the same size, or if the porting is level to each other. Not to mention possiblity of over porting and messin up the head.
