Well my firend and I are tring to pull the engine out of my car as we speak. The thing is giving me one hell of a time. I'm tring to pull the engine without the tranny from the top. Is this possible???

I pulled my 200 hundred out from the top, and left the trany in. its a 5spd and wasent exactly easy.
i just did mine on friday, wasnt that tough, and its a 5 speed, thing is there's a mystery bolt on the tranny to the block near the back that we seemed to miss, once we found that it came right out. You have a cherry picker right?
how'd exactly did u do it? me and my friend tried every which way and it wouldnt come out. and it is a 5-speed

Why not just pop the cv's out and take the tranny with it?? Am I missing something here that would make it that much more of a hassle??
