It says inline, meaning anywhere in the line. Currious, why did you buy the inline pump, don't they make a warbro 255 for our cars.
Anyway, i believe you can put it before the filter. Though your stock fuel pump is still in the car, i dunno if it will be starved or not. Anyone want to chime in. I don't have very much experience with these except in carburated vehicles.
So what is the walbro, not inline? I thought our fuel pumps were in the tank?? So it is easier to buy the walbro? And does anyone know the part number please!!! My fuel pump is done!

Yea the walbro is an in tank pump, but they also make an inline pump. I dont know the part numbers though.

you cut the feed line to the filter ,insert pump in between where you cut,make the arrow point to front of car .tighten it up . disconnect the wires to tank reroute to your pump.if you have to add wire make sure it's 12ga.it will suck through the tank pump as that inline is pretty powerful.here you go on the fmu,if you have a returnless system come off of the regulator portion of fuel pump and put in between
