I have a 01 2200, I've had an aem intake on for bout two week's now. When i took it off to do some more work, I found that oil was coming out of the vale cover hose and up into the intake and tb. Any reason for that or any thoughts??? Thanks
im pretty sure thats for the blow-by it goes thru the intake ,in the t.b. and back thru the engine to be burned off by normal combustion, ive read that alot of guys use a oil catch can for this because the oil going back thru the motor causes sludge and carbon build up but im not an engine guy so someone correct me if im wrong or at least close to answering the question

^All true however you shouldn't see much in the intkae within 2 weeks, sounds like its time for you to do a compression test and see what your dealing with there.
ok i am interested in this catch can. i always wondered what they were for. does it hook up to the pcv valve?? thats what i would assume.
