Well, it was brought to our attention that Wrench Monkey will no longer be doing the 2.2 Coil Swap (for the 2.4) but he said that someone else would be willing to follow in his footsteps on this mod and Im still very interested in getting this.
Whomever is going to be doing more on this, please... Let me know. Im sure there are plenty more JBOeons who'd like to get this mod as well. Or if anyone else is selling a 2.2 Coil Swap setup, please let me know!
BTW: Thanxz for all your work Team Green!
now DIE!
I am thinking about continuing with this coil swap setup.

Im hoping a TG member can continue it. Im not sure if anyone will be able to tho
Building coil conversion kits is easy, until we try to continually lower the cost of the mod.
I would think it may be easier offering two kits.
1. A Base kit with a ICM plug, coils, modules, mounting plate, wiring harness.
Offer for individual purchase @ a set price. If someone donates ICM connectors or sends in their old one, reduce kit price. This way the initiative rests with the car owner as it should.
2. Advanced kit. Includes base kit with the choice of upgrade options @ parts cost, maybe upgrades such as weather pak connectors or plug wires.
With all the little items needed (wire loom, tape, connectors, wire, etc) plus time to build it, the kit can only be so cheap.
Tom just helped me do this MOD and using a MSD 8.5mm plug wire kit, my final cost was $300, but worth every penny.
I like those options!
I believe the more option for people to see, the better!
now DIE!
What do you gain from switching to wires???
whiteboyz24 wrote:What do you gain from switching to wires???
Not such a pain in the ass to change the spark plugs?
Well really I know you'd gain more than that - I don't know firsthand but I remember reading in the past thread of other benefits, more or less a "cleaner" and more consistent spark I guess you could say - but I first read about this mod just after I'd changed the spark plugs and I remember thinking "why in the HELL did GM do that this way?"
I may offer a GP on the MSD components of the swap if the TG guys can't get the kit made still. That way you can use the diagrams to make your own.
