Are there any writeups on how to install new cam shafts? Im not new to timing and stuff, i have done many timing-driven water pumps. I just don't necessarily understand the concept behind it.
Please don't flame either, but it seems like a fairly simple task if it were explained/visually represented. I also have a friend who just did the cam shaft and adjustable cam on his VW, and the thing runs beautifully, so ill have someone that knows alot about the situation over my shoulder.
Any direction or help would be much appreciated!

I don't understand the haynes manual, AGAIN.
wtf is the use of the manual when they just tell you what to do, and don't give you any pictures so you can mentally link what's going on!
