hey guys and gals i have for the 2.3 2.4 1987-2001 upper beryllium copper silver coated coil spring replacements.these are just like the booty ones i have been selling so i will post some up on ebay and in the classifieds and post up pics in a bit gonna be 7.00 shipped thanks to all greg.......by the way u will only find these from me no one has ever made for the coil packs upgrade yours today.......

easy if u have my booty insert springs while u have the idi off u just take off the white housing pop the coil packs up replace the 4 springs under them and bolt her back up cake.......easy upgrade and u will only find these from me no one else thanks alot .......

hey paul they are the contact springs for the coils to the housing under the cover plate they are coiled from beryllium copper silver coated wire just like my spark boot insert springs for 2.3 2.4 quad and twincams and also for the eco engines....look in classifieds i have a link to ebay....

they have extremly low resistance than the oem springs with the beryllium copper silver coated spring best conductor in an application like this instead of just reg old oem springs that are just regular wusic wire.......no one else has these top ones just me ...........

low resistance equals better flow of electric........

i will sell a complete kit for the 2.3 and 2.4s for 11.50 shipped top coil pack spring upgrades and the lower spark boot spring upgrades also........

yeah that is me i sell them on ebay for the last couple years but these springs go to the top coil packs and u will only get them for the top coil packs from me no OTHER COMPANY MAKES THEM........this is a diff part than the black spark booty insert ones that is why i said that u can only get them from me thanks alot man

except these thats why i said new release in main title it is all good man......i just made the top coil packs last week and released them for anyone that wants this past weekend........and yup on ebay.........

have to see if it is the same as the 2.2 ecotec spark boot springs but if i had a spring to go off of no problem on making or might be same as the 2.2 eco i have in stock have not had request for the 2.4 newer ecos so if u had a spare spark boot with the spring in it i could make and give u a set for free for the help......and reserch......

maybe im missing something here but i bought upgraded springs through rk sport like 5 years ago.

after further review i see that these are for a different section of the ignition, yes? i need to tear an assembly apart and see where these go because i have no idea.

These replace the coils that sit in the coil pack itself..... the ones you have from RKsport replace the coils that are in the spark plug booties.... as soon as I get my coils and new plugs i'll throw up some pictures

i thought most of u guys knew u had another set of spring in the ignition system...well take the idi cover off and flip over take out the 4 screws that hold the black or white housing on ..and then u have access to the coils they simply pop off and up and then u will see the other 4 springs two to a coil pack worth the upgrade.......

Got my coils in today... both sets... just waiting on my powdercoated idi cover then i'll be digging in
