Borla Boomer VS. Borla ProXS

Ok, a lot of people are saying to go with the ProXS muffler and very few say to go with the boomer. Im just trying to figure out why this is.

Sure, the ProXS is a little cheaper but, it doesnt come with a tip. The boomer does. So by the time you're done, both mufflers will come out to about the same cost.

Opinions please.

your not being a jerk, Joey just seems to be trying to stir the pot. seems like alot of members are onto that kick lately...

anyways, not the time or the place.

if your looking at roughly the same price once your done, then there are other considerations you need to look at. how loud (or quiet) do you want this thing to be. start looking at what sizes the mufflers come in (length, width, etc.), the material they are made out of, configuration, sound deadening material used, things like that.

if you dont care about noise, then start looking for the most free flowing you can get. they both look like turbo style, straight through mufflers. that will probably mean that both will be louder than a chamber, but theres a good chance they will be more free flowing.

im sure that it all comes down to personal preference. the ProXS seems like its more the type of muffler you would use building a full out custom exhaust because of the different configurations its available in.

in the end, the choice is yous and its your car, pick what you want.

You would think that the ProXS and the boomer series would sound about the same. They are both straight through baffled. Rodimus, do you have a soundclip of your XS?? The only ones on youtube are of BMW's and such.
