I just ordered my Aeroforce gauge, and saw this on the website. thought it was quite interesting:

Quote:

New Feature: Bi-directional controls!
These allow for electric fan control, fuel trim reset, and CASE Learn. Available on both the standard GM gauge and CAN bus gauge.

here's the site: Aeroforce GM gauge

I'll definitely post up with what I find. I'm hoping to have it in by this weekend. I haven't gotten any shipping information yet, and I'm not sure where it comes from. as soon as I have it though, I'll hook it up and play with it.

there shouldn't be any problems with reseting the fuel trims and doing the CASE re-learn if my car is currently running good, right?

I see no problem doing so, but I would wait for others comments.

well I imagine it's just the short term trims, which wouldn't be a big deal. it would just be like disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.

the CASE re-learn I'm not sure about.

ive had both my long term and short term fuel trims reset with HPT before. all it effects is how much fuel the computer either adds or removes. if your adding a crap load of fuel you will probably run lean for a bit, removing a crap load will cause you to run rich for a bit.

nothing bad will happen, but eventually the car will "relearn" the fuel trims.
