ive had this seafoam for awhile, and my car is due for an oil change... i plan on running the seafoam through in the morning and changing the oil in the evening.
anyone know how to seafoam a eco?
I did it through the brake booster line, I did a thread on JBOK about it a couple weeks back.

Seafoam? According to what I remember reading on the bottle (IIRC) you just add a can to a tankful of fuel & one to the crankcase oil. As for the intake manifold, you needn't worry as no fuel really ever sees that area.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
A can to each ummmm NO
1/3 to Oil crankcase - I always skip this step
1/3 to your gas tank
1/3 through a vac line
are there any threads on how to apply seafoam to a 2200?

taking the 2200 out of the cavy and throwing it into the sunfire, taking the 3100 out of my friends GrandAm and throwing it into the cavy. XD Definatly a work in process...

I used the brake booster vac line.
no more cavy...now 240 =]
I see a cool-air intake
It's got a NOS-fogger system and a T-4 turbo
I see an A.I.C. controller
It has direct port nitrous injection
Yeah, a stand-alone fuel management system
...Not a bad way to spend $10,000
There are no differences of how to apply them to different engines
If you add it to your crankcase you have to change your oil within 100 kilometers
I don't believe in putting anything but oil in my crankcase so i avoid this step
I put half the bottle in my fuel tank and the other half through a vac line

i dont mean to sound like a moron, and ive searched, but where is this vac line and how do i apply it.... found out my local napa has them for 8 bucks a can. so half in the vac line and half in my gas tank...is that in a full tank or does it matter?

well of course.
make sure you disconnect the line from the brake booster so it goes into the engine. and pour in slowly. like a few drops at a time
unless someone else wants to chime in

Works best on a cold engine... I run a tube into the brake booster line and start the engine. Submerge the end of the tube in the seafoam and let it "sip" a little at a time, not letting the engine stall. After a 1/3 can shut off the engine. Wait 5 min. and restart. Let it idle till it is all the way warmed up. It will smoke like crazy. Take it for a drive, easy at first, then beat on it a little once the smoke starts to clear up. When it is done smoking, you are good.
Through brake booster line.
I never put any in the crank case either.
Mine smoked like a mother @!#$.

putting it through the brake booster line would only feed the 4th cylinder and possible the 3rd cylinder through the venturi vacuum, wouldnt it?
i dont see how this would feed all 4 cylinders.

follow this line and if it goes to the throttle body then thats the one you are looking for. Read the directions on the bottle and make sure you do it right, alot of damage can occur if you do it wrong.
