wow..first one ive seen...looks like a good add on for eco builders
How does it work with our drop-in style filters? I was about to say it wouldn't work, then I read the app. list.
Caution: I have an odd sense of humor, so don't be offended by the things I say

finally an easy way to put an oil cooler on an eco
horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.
I may have to give this a try. Looks like it just fits onto the housing where the cap does and makes a nice flow pattern...although I'm not really sure how pressurized it is in that housing....
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Bringing this back from the dead. Has anyone used this adapter? If you go to Hamburger Performance web page it says they don't make an adapter for a 02-05 cavalier.

The oil filter housing sees the same pressure as the rest of the system.......

^ Not me! Im getting tired of getting wrong parts and having to ship them back....
I bet it's BS.
But I did email hamburger to check on it.
If that picture is correct I don't see how it would work at all, the eco's do no have a center bolt like that and there are no threads are the outter ring for it to screw into the housing.

So would this just be used for like an easy access oil feeds for turbo setup? or an easy way to tap into the oil pathways for like a pressure gauge/oil cooler?
The picture is not of the actual part, but is to show its basic form. I'm sure the ECOtec app is differant, but it will allow for a relocated spin on type filter, as well as allowing for an oil cooler.
I miss my Sunfire, I want it back!

You will be missed.
