Ok, i've already posted a few threads on the header I installed a week ago and how it makes a buzzing sound when the gas is pushed. I decided that's how it's gonna sound and to deal with it. But I also remember reading somewhere that flex pipe can change the sound. I believe the shop put a 6 or 8" flex on. Would welding on a shorter one, say 4 or 2", help at all....theoretically?????

How many threads do you need to post about this? Just ask questions in
one of your 4 threads pertaining to the same issue.
it wasnt the length of the flex pipe that i had a problem with, it was the diameter. it was smaller than the rest of the exhaust. or you have bad welds. take it to a different shop.
buzz ? thought it was a whistle ?
Whistle is gone. The guys at lopers forgot to weld the top of the flex. numb nuts..... I think the one they welded on was 2" diamter and then they expanded the inlet/outlet on the bedning machine.
Well, thanks for all the help guys. Im gonna go on vibrant and order a 2.25" flex and put that on, just to see what happens.
