2.2 valve guide modification

I have the comp cams 1.6 roller rockers and all of the supporting parts that are needed. I have read several install directions that are floating around the forums. The directions im going with is from ny-jbodies.org. However there is a reference to a diagram that shows how to cut the valve guides and I cant find it anywhere. Its been awhile since Ive been active on the forums so does ny-jbodies exsist anymore? I cant find a good link to their site either. Thanks in advance.

Valve Guides?! I doubt you want to cut them!

I believe, what you are asking is how and where to cut the guide plates.

You want to grind approximately 1/8" from the slot the pushrod goes through the guide plate, closest to the rocker arm stud hole.

You may alsop need to grind a little on the valve cover breather baffles. Some of the aftermarket rocker arms will rub on the baffles. The push rod end of the intake rocker arms next to the baffles rub at the upper limits of the valve lift. The area to gring will be on the side of the baffle closetr to the end of the rocker arm and near the valve cover it self.

Bringing this one back to life, cause i'm trying to buy some guide plates, and the dealers don't sell them anymore. I didn't see them on gmpartsdirect.com
or anywhere else online.

anyone have a part number for this??
