well i am trying to solve a problem that i have had for 2 weeks and cannot figure out. i have a 95 2.2 and there are 2 solenoids 1. egr solenoid and a evap purge solenoid, the egr solenoid wiring comes off the harnesses that are attached to the map and tps and and such by the manifold, i cannot find the canister purge harness, its supposed to be by the coils and i have ripped the intake back off and everything and am losing my mind, can i just not hook it up? the wire in the servicew manual shows that its supposed to be a green and white wire and i cannot find it, everything else is plugged in and the only other thing that i can do is rip the harness off the mounting points and trace it from the ecu and i really do not want to do that.there are no 2 pin harnesses next to the coils and everything around there is hooked up, no other 2 pin to confuse it with either. any ideas on the harness and trying to locate it?

well the plug is usually red if that helps and you can just not plug it in but you will prolly get an evap code

ok i think i found the problem, my dumbass plugged the evap purge wire harness into the crank sensor, and i unplugged so then i figured hmmmm. i wonder if the 3 pin harness thats next to the fuel injector harness will fit the crank sensor, and sure @!#$ it did, my question is madjack what colors do you see on the crank sensor plug, and is it a three pin? with a purple color on the plug? because i have 2 3 pin ones that are alnost identical, also would they have put the cam position sensor on the 95 2.2 harness if it did not have a cam position sensor? this plug looks like it was plugged in before though, so i am guessing no on that one

just found my answer, the cranks pos sensor is dk/blu yell/blk and ltgreen/black , for some reason the crank senor will accept the plug from the evap soleoind, wierd, anyways that madjack without that picture i would have never figured it out, back to the turbo piing, thanks again
