i have a 95 ohv and have done the topfeed conversion using some bosch injectors and clips and am making a harness out of the 98 2200 harness and the new injectors are 42lb/hr 440cc injectors at 2.4 ohms and all i could find was that the 95 side feeds were
1. 12 ohms by one post
2. 17 ohms by the 2nd post and
3. 2-6 ohms by the third, and wanted to make it a cleaner install so i am going to wire in resistors, trying to decide what resistance to wire in , also the harness i have has 2 wires per injector, each has a red wire and the 2nd color isboth green on the middle 2 injectors and blue on the outter, so what wire do i solder the injector into the reds or the other colors?
also should i do this where the harness comes in at the connector so i only have 2 resistors?
thanks
jason
so i figured out that the stock 95's are 14 ohms and my new ones are 2.4 ohms, all i found were 10 ohm resistors, will they be close enough?
thanks
jason
Do the math dude. It's not that hard. E=I*R or something like that. Basic electricity. I bet there's even a plug and tell thing online somewhere.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

also where do the wattage ratings matter like 1/2 watt or 2 watt?
You'll actually need some special resistors to handle high wattage. Somewhere around 10 to 12 watts. And a good heatsink to pull the heat off the resistors because they will get very hot.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
what kind of car do i have to get a resistor box out of, i think i will just do that
jason
I dont think any cars have resistor boxes, try something like casper, they probably make a harness with the correct reistors.
