old cav motors

whatl would it take to put a old cav v6 motor in a 95-99 cav. Or would it be better to put 2.4 in it instead

V6 = switch everything out.

2.4 = switch almost everything out.

well if u used the older v6 engine harness and a 3x00 motor with would be pretty easy

depends on the engine you choose, engine, harness, maybe tranny ( i think the 3100 or 3400 can use the 2.2 tranny) might have to fab up some new mounts.

all the 60 degree v6's share the same bell housing as the 2.2 thats the 2.8 3.1 3100 3400 3500 all can and prob have been swaped but if you have a third gen wich is obd 2 and the v6 z24s were all obd 1 i think you would have to switch to obd 1. read the sticky on the third gen page i know thats not for the engine your talkin about but might be helpful or try www.60degreev6.com

i also think the mounts are very difrent between second gen and third gen but im not shure
