2002 Stock Ecotec Engine Computer

I am trying to locate a stock 2002 Computer for an Ecotec.. ECU ID for all Eco Computers is 12210553. My issue here is I am trying to find a 5 spd computer, I was told an automatic would not work. Is this true or false?

I am choosing an 02 because I have already had those credits unlocked in HPT...

Also if anyone with a 2002 5 Speed Ecotec could go read the 4 digit service number off the computer I'd really like that... The one my local junkyard has is DNLA

you would need to have the license for the whole 02 model year to be able to access a different VIN# computer

best thing would be search ebay and find the guy that sells pcm's matched to your VIN#

an automatic PCM will work its the same thing it may not run your car like its suppose to but it will work, you can then flash the auto PCM at a GM dealer with a 5spd VIN and tune from there

i ran an GP auto PCM after my swap and my car drove it just would bog down when the coputer thought it should be shifting
