Your not making any sense whatsoever. What are you referring to by "thing", because thing could be "anything".
if you have a 4 door you could possibly have egr, but either way it wont matter,if you dont have egr you will have block off plate or your header will block it off.

ok sorry I bought and installed headers on my 04 L61 bu when I press the gas i hear a tick sound and some say its the bolts and some say its coming from my motor cuz it didnt use to do that can somebody help and does it matter if I put the gasket that came with the header or do I put the stock gasket???

re-use the stock gasket if it looks ok. If you used the paper/cork one thats your problem right there..
The ticking noise is almost garanteed to be an exhaust leek. I would start it up when it is cold outside and look for the leak to determine where for sure it is and go from there.

yep sounds like an exhaust leak if you had a shop put it on I would take it back and tell the to fix it. what header did you get?

guys cody you the man you were right that was my problem i got the stock gasket on and the ticking stopped and guys thanks it was an exhaust leak
