Depends on how much money you have or want to spend but at the minimum forged piston and Eagle rods, stainless valves 1mm over size and bronze guides, cams etc. Are you going to boost with a turbo or supercharger as that will determine what compression pistons you use?

With how cheap the supercharger kit is going for at Crate Engine Depot, it is a bargain.

If I had a 2.4, that is what I would buy immediately.

The turbo kits are double the price.

But, if you want the max output, the turbo is obviously better.

Do not do a wild overbore, this always makes the cylinders have less spacing, and runs hotter.
I did this and the motor as a result burned oil a lot.

im goign to go with a turbo but im goign to piece it ... not going to buy a kit . i have sum of the stuff off my old setup on the 2.2 but i never rebuilt it just ran it stock .. when i get it apart i geuss i will see if there is any damage to the cylinder walls thats what im kinda worried about ... but if its not to bad probably go with a .20 overbore .. i know for sure im going to get eagle rods not so sure on the pistons yet .. im reall confused on the compression and stuff i would need to boost right and not blow a hole in the side of the block or piston lol

Look also at Turbotechracing.com. Your stock inards will not like a whole lot of boost so pistons are a big deal on a turbo application ove 6 ls of boost or so. There is a TON of info on your project throughout the performance and boost forums so don't neglect the search button. Somebody is bound to toss u some attitude for not searching already. The info is out there. Also, Importperformance.net has a complete bottom end rebuild kit with Eagle rods and you choice of either JE or Wiseco pistons, among other prime parts.

Search and you shall find...
