well i just orderd my header
im gonne order a magna flow hiflow cat
and cherry bomb resonater
its gonna all be 2.25 pipeing/etc

and i was wonderin what kind on muffler i should get
i was wanting to get a round one
i wanted to go with borla or magnaflow
any body have any they favor or any info on them

I love my setup, I would recommend it.

-Header,
-Magnaflow cat
-magnaflow 22in resonator
-the I welded it to my magnaflow catback
2.25 piping all the way.

I got the magnaflow cat-back from a friend cheap, So if that deal had not popped up.

Then I would have done the same setup only made a custom 2.25 cat-back with a magnaflow muffler.

Some guys love dynomax super turbo mufflers, but I stick with magnaflow.

does it look good

ive never heard an oval muffler just the fart cans

i have a dynomax thrush turbo muffler thats straight through style to a 3" outlet and my car has got some throat to it. i was very pleased with the price and the quality of the dynomax.

All magnaflow mufflers are straight through design, if you look through the opening of my oval muffler and my round muffler(resonator), you can see through to the outlet.

I have the 5x8 oval muffler from magnaflow and I love it.
yes it looks good from behind the car especially.
But make sure to get the SS not just brushed, because the shine is awesome.
farts cans don't sound goon IMO, the frankly don't have enough mass to dampen sound well enough to get a good mellow deep sound.
The only "fart can" style i like is the Apex'i N1.

i think i might look into magnaflow now haha. been thinkin about gettin a cat-back exhaust.

I am using a 4x9 oval magnaflow muffler in conjuction with a 22" long 4" round body resonator also from Magnaflow and some 2.25" piping...makes for a decent catback in my opinion and I totally agree that fart cans don't sound good. I have had one before...way too loud and raspy and did not give me the deep sound I currently have.
